Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader and senator from the great state of Kentucky is no different than many of the traitors America has had to contend with over the years. From Benedict Arnold to John Walker Jr., traitors wish to impede America from making progress in healing the world and its own wounds. McConnell showed his own traitorous teeth by opposing Barack Obama every inch of the way during his presidency, forcing Obama into issuing many Executive Orders to get anything done (with the exception of the Affordable Care Act, perhaps Obama’s greatest accomplishment, when the Senate was under Democratic control in the first two years of his term.) McConnell was quite transparent in admitting that his singular goal was to make Obama a one term president.
In an interview on the eve of the 2010 midterm elections, with the country still reeling from the Great Recession, here’s what he said about his priorities:
McConnell: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.
And now that Trump has lost his reelection bid in a record tidal wave of Democrat voters nationwide, McConnell parrots Trump’s efforts to reverse the outcome in an attempt to undermine the very foundations of democracy. He wants to reverse a legitimate vote with no evidence of fraud or misconduct among election officials. McConnell’s disingenuous support of Trump’s right to challenge the election via the courts and not acknowledge Biden’s definitive victory is another example of his shameless disregard for the basic tenets of the American system.

I agree with you 100% I emailed McConnell today ( probably a wast of my time ) and like you compared him to Benedict Arnold. He’s a Trump enabler and it is treason in my opinion. He, Barr and now Pompeo have permanently sullied their reputations to assist a mentally unstable wanabe tyrant.
God Bless American and God speed donations to democrats in Georgia.

Thanks very much, David. It will be tough fight in Georgia, but I think we have a chance. I’d love to see big wins for those two Democrats, both very able politicians. Your email to McConnell is not in vain. He needs to see every citizen’s opinion of him.
Be well, and many thanks for taking the time to comment.
